Two of the cases were in Orange, one was in Bathurst and another was in Cowra.
Two of the cases recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm on Thursday were household contacts of previous cases and three were otherwise linked to previous cases.
On Friday, Dubbo West Public School was closed for cleaning and contract tracing because a community member tested positive for COVID.

In total there have been 1650 cases of COVID recorded in the Western NSW Local Heath District.
Meanwhile, NSW has recorded 249 COVID-19 cases.
The state now has 89.1 per cent of its population aged 16 years and older fully vaccinated while 93.8 per cent have had a single dose.
There are 285 cases in hospital, and 61 in ICU.
There were 80,581 tests conducted in the 24 hours to 8pm Thursday, which was down on 94,661 tests done the day prior.
