The massive display is of local bushfoods traditionally used by Wiradjuri people and pays homage to the role of food in health.
The artwork is the fourth and final one by internationally renowned public artist Fintan Magee.
His first two were completed in March 2020, the first one is a spectacular display on the eastern side of the precinct depicting a portrait of three generations of a Wiradjuri family, called Meeting Point.

The portrait explores the role storytelling and dance have in sharing of cultural knowledge between generations and highlights the importance of family structures in cultural preservation and identity.
Mr Magee met with Aboriginal elders, including Aunty Di McNaboe to learn about traditional bush foods used in the region, and the cultural sensitivities of the artwork.
The display on the Cancer Centre was completed this month as part of Dubbo Hospital's arts program.
