A man has been charged following two aggravated break and enters at the same home in Dubbo.

Between 5am and 5.30am on Wednesday October 20, an unknown man forced entry to a home on Siren Street, Dubbo.
The occupant - an 89-year-old woman - was confronted by the man and pushed to the ground before he ransacked the home and fled with cash.

Just before 3am on Thursday, police responded to reports that the power had been deliberately cut to the same home on Siren Street, Dubbo and a person was attempting to gain entry.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended a short time later, along with community members who chased a man from the premises.
The 41-year-old man was charged was arrested nearby in River Street and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
The man was charged with two counts of aggravated enter dwelling with intent - knowing people there, two counts of common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Thursday.
