Active COVID-19 cases across the Western NSW Local Health District are continuing to rapidly decrease with the region now reporting 126 active cases as at Thursday compared to the 137 the day before.

The decrease comes as a further 13 recoveries were made in the 24 hours to 8pm Wednesday.
The Western NSW Local Health District has reported two new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm Wednesday, neither which are located within the Dubbo LGA.
Of the two cases one is located in Orange and one is located in Bathurst, one was known to have not been infectious while in the community and the other remains under investigation.
There has also been no new hospitalisations across the region.
There has been positive sewerage detections in Canowindra, Lightening Ridge, Gulgong and Nyngan where there are currently no recent or confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Residents of those communities are urged to remain vigilant for the onset of COVID-19 symptoms and, if they appear, to get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
