There's days when a jockey arrives at a track knowing every horse he's going to sit on is nothing but a rank outsider.

But those just make days like Sunday's Gold Cup meeting at Dubbo Turf Club all the sweeter for Anthony Cavallo.
Cavallo has arguably the best book of rides of any jockey heading into the showcase meeting.
In Jailbreak and From The Bush, the veteran hoop is locked in to pilot two of the best chances in the day's two biggest events.
The Kody Nestor-trained Jailbreak was second on the line of betting at $4.80 on Friday ahead of the $50,000 Flying Handicap (1100m) sprint while Gayna Williams' From The Bush opened a $6 favourite for the $100,000 Gold Cup.
"They're probably two of the strongest training stables in the western area, which bloody helps," Cavallo said of Dubbo's Nestor and Bathurst-based Williams.
"It helps to know you're getting on decent cattle."

While there will be some expectation around Cavallo on Sunday - he'll also ride Vital Verse, Democracy Manifest and Super Chance for Nestor - the focus is the same as any other race day.
"You just try and go in with a level head. How many times have I gone to the races with a good book of rides and come home with nothing?" he said.
"I don't talk it up to anyone. I just try to go around my business. I've been in the game too long."
Cavallo has a strong rapport with both From The Bush and Jailbreak.
He rode From The Bush in his past two starts and has recorded a win in the Forbes Cup and a second in the Narromine Cup.
Prior to that, the five-year-old gelding had won a Highway event at Randwick.
Despite running second last start, Cavallo said From The Bush didn't handle the soft track perfectly at Narromine but conditions are expected to be much better on Sunday.
"She [Williams] says he's coming along nicely," the jockey said.
"He might have felt a touch flat at Narromine but she assures me he's well. It will be a beautiful track at Dubbo ... it will be spot on and that will suit all of us."
The cup is a loaded race, with Nestor's Fast Talking ($8), Rule The World ($8.50), Regal Stage ($9), and Ready To Humble ($10) just some of the other top contenders.
From The Bush is set to push forward from gate six and his adaptability is a big plus in such a class event.
"If you're on a dead-set backmarker who can't go forward and they slow the pace on you then you're in all sorts of trouble," Cavallo said.
"He can go forward but there's no problem to sit off the pace, so it helps a lot in these bigger races."
In the Flying Handicap, Jailbreak will look to showcase his talents to Kosciuszko slot holders.
The sprinter is in contention for a spot in the $1.3 million feature next month and a strong showing on Sunday would boost his claims.
Cavallo rode Jailbreak to victory in last year's edition of the Flying Handicap. Nestor's hope will be first-up after a 14-week spell on Sunday and he'll carry carry 62kg, a sharp rise on the 55kg he had last year.
"He's done the hard yards," Cavallo said, Jailbreak having won at Canterbury since last year.
"I think last year's [Flying] was a bit harder but it's still not easy.
"He hasn't got much under his belt but he's got a fair prep ahead of him. He loves Dubbo and he'll bounce out. He'll roll forward somewhere and look the winner at some stage."
The Flying and Gold Cup are the eighth and ninth events on Sunday's bumper 10-race card.
