Seventeen-year-old Jye Kennedy died at the end of last month, with the community showing their support for the family, and raising over $10,000 for his funeral.
Jye's sister Shanayah organised a GoFundMe page to raise money for the funeral and to give him the send off he deserved.

The page exceeded the original intended target of $10,000 after only a matter of hours.
"He was a beautiful boy with a big heart and most caring soul who knew how to make people laugh and put a smile on everyone's face," Ms Kennedy said on the page.
Speaking with the Daily Liberal Ms Kennedy and her family were overwhelmed with the support they have received since posting the fundraiser.
"Definitely, He will definitely be feeling it as well," she said.
As of Friday, the fundraiser had brought in $13,275 which had smashed the goal set when it was created.
Ms Kennedy admitted she did not think the post would bring in as much money as it did in such a short time.
"Within three hours it was up to $10,000 which went way past our goal."
There is no doubt the support shown on the fundraiser shows just how much Jye is truly loved by his family and friends.
Ms Kennedy wished to thank everyone who had reached out to support not only but her family as well.
"I'd like to thank everyone for their support and helping us," she said. "It means a lot."
"We have reached our goal all thanks to the help of you lovely people that donated/ shared etc. words can't explain how much we appreciate it."
Due to COVID-19 restrictions only 10 people are allowed to attend Jye's funeral, which will be on a date which is yet to be announced.
However, Ms Kennedy said there will be a livestream for those who wish to watch.
Anyone who needs help can contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.
