"I've been jumping for nearly 35 years now. My father was a skydiver as well so I grew up with it," he said.
"You don't get the highs that you do off your first, second or even your 100th or 200th jump, but it's enjoyable. For the most part these days I enjoy flying the aeroplane."
Skydive Oz started at the Dubbo Aeroclub in 2000.

Mr Smith describes outback NSW as the "heart of the business".
"We basically travelled to all of the country towns so people would get to skydive over the their hometown," he said.
"The country people are the best to deal with. They're real nice and enjoyable, thankful and grateful. The opportunity to go into those towns is the best part about it."
After a couple of years away from western NSW, Skydive Oz is planning to come back.
COVID-19 disrupted the company's initial plans, but at this stage it's hoping to have tandem skydiving at Narromine airport on September 19.
"It's not necessarily a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity but in this day and age, with everything that's going on and not being able to travel overseas, you can't do those trips and adventures that you've probably been thinking of. It's a good opportunity to have an adventure right where you are in your own town," Mr Smith said.
The skydiving expert said one of the best things about flying the plane was being able to watch everyone jump and seeing their amazement.
"You get the people who really enjoy it and the people who say they'll never do it again. It's only about two per cent who say they'll never do it again, most people can't wait to have another go," Mr Smith said.
He said Skydive Oz was in Cowra recently when one lady racked up her 23rd jump with the company.
"It's been a couple of years since we've been out [west], last year was obviously a tough year for everyone... And the outback has been going through a bit of a drought so we haven't been out there for a little while. Now that we're back, take advantage of it," Mr Smith said.
The company follows COVID-safe procedures like ensuing everyone checks in via QR code and wears a mask while on the plane.
