The Western NSW Local Health District has recorded 36 new cases of Covid-19 in the region overnight, with 23 in Dubbo, five in Parkes and two in Bourke.

There were also 14 cases in Wilcannia in the Far West Local Health District recorded up until 8pm on Monday, August 25.
The state added 753 cases and no deaths to the Sydney outbreak's toll in the 11am update.
In terms of the regions, many areas are settling down and stabilising, but western NSW remains our concern.

On Monday Deputy Premier John Barilaro said a meeting would be held on Wednesday to determine what extensions would be undertaken to lockdowns in the western area.
He said the lockdowns were expected to be extended and flagged both 14 and 28 days as the possible extension times.
On Tuesday, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said she was "so pleased and grateful" the state had hit 6 million jabs, her goal for August, already.
Ms Berejiklian said she expected to make an announcement of what those who are fully vaccinated will be able to do from next month.

"That equates to about 60 per cent of our population across the state having one dose," she said.
