The Bureau of Meteorology's (BoM) seven-day forecast as of Thursday predicts above-average daytime temperatures from Friday to Monday, and above-average morning temperatures from Saturday to Monday.
On Friday the temperature is forecast to range from 2 to 23 degrees Celsius, on Saturday 7 to 23 degrees, Sunday 4 to 24 degrees, and Monday 9 to 20 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be more in keeping with the average maximum and minimum temperatures in August of 17.5 and 3.1 degrees.
On Tuesday the temperature is predicted to range from 3 to 16 degrees and on Wednesday 0 to 17 degrees.
The BoM is forecasting a 40 per cent chance of up to 2 millimetres (mm) of rain on Monday.
Average rainfall at Dubbo during August is 34.3mm.
On Thursday morning a total of 4.2mm of rain had fallen at Dubbo's airport this month.
