Fresh off winning the Forbes Cup as favourite, From The Bush is looking to add another big race to his name for trainer Gayna Williams against a quality field of runners.
Former Group 3 Eclipse champion Pacodali, who has recently arrived at Bryan Dixon's Gilgandra stables, will start as top weight and Reward Seeker, who pushed From The Bush hard to the line in the Forbes Cup, will be taking part.
Tony Cavallo returns to ride Williams' runner and holds a high opinion of him.
"He's a nice, big horse who can get through the wet tracks and he's quite versatile. The only thing is that he goes up three kilos from his last win, but he's a big horse and I see no reason why he should carry it," he said.
"Reward Seeker tends to get back and if we can pinch a break he's got to run us down. I feel like I was safely holding him, and my guy only does what he needs to do.
"[Pacodali] is up from Melbourne. It's a lot of weight he's got to carry. It will be interesting to see how he runs. He's obviously got a lot of ability.
With a start from barrier eight Cavallo has plenty of confidence that he'll be able to get From The Bush up towards his preferred position towards the head of the pack.
"You've got Mackellar's Love going out from barrier one who will probably lead and can run along a bit, so it's going to take some running down," he said.
"It should be a genuinely run race, which should suit me, and I don't have to lead.
