It brings the total number of active COVID cases in the city to 22.
There were also two new cases in Walgett.
Residents have been urged to come forward for COVID-19 testing after more COVID was picked up in the sewage.
Fragments of COVID have also been detected in the sewage at Bathurst, Bourke and Parkes.
Western NSW LHD chief executive Scott McLachlan said it was a continued reminder of the serious risk COVID-19 posed in the district.
"I urge anyone who is symptomatic to come forward for testing as a priority. Please ensure that you wear a mask while being tested, and then immediately isolate until you receive a negative result," he said.
"I'd ask that everyone please be patient when coming forward for testing."
On Thursday morning, NSW Health also announced six new venues listed as exposure sites in Dubbo.
Anyone who attended the following venues during the times listed must immediately get tested and isolate until you receive further advice from NSW Health:
- McDonald's West Dubbo, 101 Whylandra Street. Friday, August 6 3.35pm to 3.55pm
- Bunnings Dubbo, Cnr Mitchell Highway and Sheraton Road. Monday, August 9. 8.12am to 8.20am
- Dan Murphy's, Cnr Windsor Parade and Birch Avenue. Monday, August 9. 2pm to 2.20pm
- Myall Street Mini Mart, 272 Myall Street. Monday, August 9. 3.35pm to 3.45pm
- Fitness Focus Dubbo, 7 Jannali Road. Monday, August 9. 3.53pm to 5.05pm.
- Dubbo Uniting Service Station, 195 Cobra Street. Monday, August 9. 4.25pm to 4.28pm.
The Walgett Sporting Club at 10 Montkeila Street has also been identified as an exposure site. Anyone who was there on Tuesday, August 10 between 7.39pm and 7.50pm needs to immediately get tested.

NSW recorded 390 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Of these locally acquired cases, 140 are linked to a known case or cluster - 118 are household contacts and 22 are close contacts - and the source of infection for 250 cases is under investigation.
Ninety-eight cases were in isolation throughout their infectious period and 43 were in isolation for part of their infectious period. Fifty-eight cases were infectious in the community, and the isolation status of 191 remains under investigation.
