Due to Dubbo's seven-day COVID-19 lockdown, all this weekend's Western Premier League games have been postponed until at least next week but with more cases being identified each day in the region, the suspension could last longer.
Bulls were comfortably beaten by the Orange Waratahs last weekend and co-captain and coach James Leonard knows the suspension has come at a good time.
"I think it is coming in perfect for us," he said.
"We sort of lost our way a little bit in the last couple of games so it has come quite handy.
"We've got a few older bodies who will like the two or three week break so I think it's going to benefit us."

Orana Spurs and Orange Waratahs have secured the top two positions on the ladder leaving Bulls in third with just a final round remaining until the four week finals series begins.
Bulls' next match will come against Bathurst club Panorama and Leonard knows the game does not mean much in the larger picture of their season.
"For us, it's a bit of a nothing game as we are locked into third spot," he said.
"We sort of can't go up or down."
Leonard said Bulls will get back to what has worked for them throughout the season after experimenting against Waratahs.
"We tried to do something different last game and it didn't quite work out," he said.
"It's a learning curve."
Panorama struggled to start the season and Leonard knows when the two sides eventually meet he is unsure of what to expect.
"At the start of the season they were not going to well but they have put together a couple of wins," he said.
"It's hard to know what Panorama you are going to come up against really."
Another positive for Bulls is youngster Kane Settree will return this season and may even play the club's next game after suffering a leg injury last month against Orana Spurs.
Settree was leading the WPL player of the year competition before his injury and Leonard knows getting the midfielder back will be a big boost heading into the finals.
"That's also a benefit for us," he said.
"He was told four to six weeks, so four weeks was going to be the first week of the finals.
"But now if it's delayed, it's going to benefit him as well.
"So he is going to be back for the finals quite easily."
The season is planning on resuming next weekend subject to lockdown restrictions.
