The Narromine Revitalisation and Activation Project has secured the funding under round three of the government's Economic Development Program.
Improvements will be made at Tomingley Hall including the introduction of artificial turf and picnic settings.
The town's Eric Woods Park and Dicken Park will benefit from the likes of solar lighting and sealing of car parks.

The funding will cover work on the Narromine Council building and completion of its HubnSpoke co-working space for entrepreneurs.

The funding will also go to capacity building programs for business owners and individuals.
"These hugely successful programs attract between 100 to 150 participants annually at a range of seminars designed to help promote better business and lifestyle outcomes across the shire," Narromine mayor Craig Davies said.
