Current NSW Health restrictions require face masks to be worn in indoor areas of construction sites but local businessman Brett Harvey says it has not affected his job sites as much as it was expected when announced.
"Not really," he said.
"The health guys came and visited us the other day at our display home and we were ducking around the jobs.
"Usually there's only two or three guys in a house at any one time.
"Most houses I do are 300 square metres so it's a bit over the top but if that's what you gotta do, then it's what you've gotta do."

Mr Harvey added his workers abide by the current guidelines especially when working with other tradesmen.
"When we are working outside you don't need them," he said.
"It's really only the tilers, carpenters and plasterers but I've got QR codes on all my jobs."
Dubbo has seemingly embraced the latest restrictions and Mr Harvey feels the city is doing a wonderful job at adapting to the changes.
"The boys have been pretty good and I think everyone in Dubbo has been good," he said.
"Everywhere you go, you hardly see a person without a mask on.
"I suppose if that's what we have to do to stay open it's pretty good I reckon."
Mr Harvey admitted his business has not been affected by the restrictions and it was busier than usual.
"No, not at all," he said.
"We've still got really strong inquiry in Dubbo.
"I've never seen it so busy, it's just the weather is causing us a bit of a drama at the moment because it seems to rain every Thursday and Friday.
"Which is throwing a spanner in the works because we have never had so many houses to start and it's just hard to get a start when the ground is so wet."
For Mr Harvey and other businesses around the region abiding by the COVID-19 restrictions is important to continue trading as normal as possible.
"The COVID-19 stuff has been good," he said.
"Everyone who comes into my display has a mask on and has to sign-in.
"I think people out here are pretty good.
"We want to stay open and I think people know what we've got to do."
Restrictions will last for at least another week while NSW continues to battle another wave of COVID-19.
A further 97 local acquired cases were announced on Friday morning by NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian but there has been no cases in Dubbo since mid way through 2020.
