On September 4, residents in the Dubbo LGA will elect 10 councillors, two for each of the five wards.
However, only those who are enrolled by Monday, July 26 will be eligible to vote.
Enrollment is open to Australian citizens who are 16-years-old or older - although voting is only allowed for those over 18.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
To enroll residents must also have lived at their current address for at least one month.
For all those who are on the electoral role, voting is compulsory.
Residents may be fined if they're enrolled but fail to vote on election day, or during the pre-poll period.
Check your enrollment via the NSW Electoral Commission website.
