The feeling is mutual, says Dubbo Regional Theatre manager Linda Christof as she reports of early demand at the box office for tickets to newly-announced 2022 shows.
Fresh from the success of two sell-out shows at Dubbo in June, the ARIA Hall of Fame inductees have announced they will return to the city for three performances on May 24, 25 and 26.
"Dubbo, we love you and are coming back," the group's post to Facebook said.
Fans are already moving to secure tickets.
"[The return] is really exciting because a lot of people did miss out, even with two sell-out shows here," Ms Christof said.

"And there were also people who attended a performance who wanted to see them again the next night.
"So they've got some really enthusiastic, loyal fans that follow them, and so we have definitely seen a spike in ticket sales, even though we've just listed that show."
Human Nature made the announcement about its AAA People Get Ready 2022 Tour in the midst of the industry contending with NSW's COVID-19 outbreak and restrictions.
Ms Christof said despite the theatre currently operating at half its normal seating capacity and mask rules, there were signs of confidence things would settle down again.
"And people are still able to use their Dine & Discover vouchers for that [ Human Nature], even though the show is next year," she said.
"So we encourage people to be confident, and purchase your tickets for that show."
Human Nature has album sales of more than 2.5 million in Australia alone and is known for its pop classics and Motown reimaginings.
Ms Christof said there had been a warm response from the regional audiences to the recent Dubbo shows.
"It was such a slick, polished show... very down to earth, great set design and everyone had a lovely time," she said.
