These two heavyweight sides have history going back to last seasons grand final in which Bathurst defeated a previously unbeaten Dubbo side.
Fast forward to Saturday and the two sides have split their two matches this season with each win going to the home side.
Dubbo coach Angus McDonald says the squad are developing well with only four rounds remaining.
"We're starting to get everyone back now which is good," he said.

"A few injuries still but the girls have been building week in and week out which is good.
"A lot of young girls have developed throughout the year and stood up when we have needed them too.
"I'm really looking forward to it."
Bathurst currently sit above Dubbo on the ladder due to only points differential and McDonald knows how good the visiting side are.
"They're complete across the park," he said.
"They've got pace out wide and they've got big strong forwards.
"It's going to be a good battle and I know our girls are looking forward to it."
Dubbo are set to welcome back Kim Fyfe from the ACT Brumbies Super W campaign while Olivia Creswick will line-up after playing in the Select XV last week.
"Kimmy [Fyfe] is back this week so she'll give us some firepower upfront which is great," McDonald said.
"I know she is pretty keen to get on the paddock which is good."
Without Lillyann Mason-Spice for the majority of the season, McDonald feels the side are in a much better position this season with a host of new players putting in strong performances.
"It's lucky we have the depth we do this year,"
"If it was last year and we had this many girls out playing rep it would be hard.
"Because we had girls in Country, CHS and AON at the start of the year and then some injuries which came from that as well.
"It's great to have everyone back and this is the most complete sort of side we have put out I'd sort of say but still not fully there with a couple of girls still to come back
"It's great those girls will bring back their experiences with them."
The winner of the match will likely go on to claim the minor premiership but the two sides will meet again when the finals series begins.
In the round's other match, the third placed Orange Emus will host the fourth placed Forbes.
Kick-off for the game will follow the Colts local derby between the Dubbo Kangaroos and Rhinos which will begin at 12:20pm.
