Rural Crime Prevention Team investigators are seeking the public's help in finding two sheep stolen from a high school in the state's Far West.

Detectives believe the shorn Merino wether and unshorn Merino ewe were stolen from the Bourke High School sometime between June 23 and June 24.
The wether is described as being about four months old with a purple ear tag, while the ewe is about seven months old, has been crutched and had a yellow ear tag.

Officers from Bourke Police and the Rural Crime Prevention Team are urging anyone with information to come forward and all information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
