The Wellington Cowboys will hold their annual bowel cancer awareness round when they host the Macquarie Raiders in the weekend's Group 11 round seven clash and it's something close to their captain-coach's heart.
Toomey-White was diagnosed with bowel cancer in late 2018 and this season has been his first back playing since being declared cancer-free in 2019.
"The whole month is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and it plays a massive role in my life now after I was diagnosed two years ago," he said.
"The more awareness out there, the more lives can be saved from this deadly disease.
"It's awesome to see the club having this on their calendar again and help raise awareness."

The support Toomey-White received from the Cowboys while he was receiving treatment is something he holds close still and to see the club, major sponsor Wellington Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (WACHS) and so many in the community continue help is also special.
He was coach of the Cowboys side when the round was held during the 2019 season while it wasn't held last year as all competition was abandoned due to the impact of COVID-19.
"It's just another reason why we love our club. I love my club and my community," he said.
"Two years ago I was grateful to be able to coach the boys on this special day but to be able to run the boys out is completely different.
"To do that and play and be part of it, it's going to be a very special day on Sunday."
WACHS will have a tent with services and information on hand at Kennard Park on Sunday while all four of the Cowboys' sides which run out will have one-off red socks for the occasion.
On the field, the first grade match looks set to be worthy of the occasion.
Macquarie is coming off the back of a tough loss so they'll come out firing.

The Cowboys and Raiders are level in second spot on the Group 11 ladder behind the unbeaten CYMS and both are still searching for their best performance of the season.
The Raiders are coming off a shock loss to Parkes prior to the long weekend bye while Wellington is back at home for only the second time this season, having suffered a heavy loss to CYMS at Kennard Park earlier in the year.
"It's a really important one. We know we're going to have a battle on our hands," Toomey-White said.
"Macquarie has some great singings and they've played some pretty good games this year.
"Macquarie is coming off the back of a tough loss so they'll come out firing and, for us, we didn't have the best game last time here at Kennard Park so we'll be looking to make it a different story."
The Cowboys are going into the match at full strength after resting up during the long weekend bye.
Prior to that the side scored a 38-26 win over Nyngan and while he was pleased with his side's attack on that occasion, Toomey-White wants an improved effort in defence on Sunday.
The action starts with league tag at 11am while first grade is set for a 2.30pm kick-off.
