Both go into the weekend off after suffering heavy defeats at the hands of the Bathurst Giants on Saturday and it leaves the sides looking for answers to very different questions.
The women's side was beaten 10-9-69 to 2-1-13 by the Giants and while the Demons remain in second spot on the ladder they're yet to get close to the unbeaten Bathurst side this season.
Saturday's loss followed a 39-point defeat to the Giants at home in round one of the season.
The Demons gave it their all at Bathurst on Saturday and really took it to the Giants but it wasn't enough as only one goal in the first half proved decisive.
"The game definitely wasn't reflected by the scoreboard at all," Giants captain Katie Kennedy admitted.
"It was probably the most physical game I've ever played in like my whole 12 or 13 years of football, I felt like a rag doll out there.
"They didn't stop until the last siren blew, they just kept coming at us and coming at us, but we held them scoreless in the first quarter, scoreless in the last quarter and just our backline, it's probably the best back line in the Central West."

Getting past the Giants remains the women's biggest challenge this year but for the men it's a case of wondering where the first win of the season will come.
The season was always going to be a difficult one as this year marked the first the club has fielded sides in Tier 1 and Tier 2 and the strain that has put on depth has been telling.
There's been a number of positives for the Terry Lyons-coached Demons but they weren't able to match a rampant Giants side on Saturday and fell to a heavy 22-15-147 to 5-9-39 loss.
Giants captain Bailey Brien was the star of the show as he booted five majors while Tom Budd kicked three of the Demons' five goals.
The loss leaves the Demons without a point to their name at the bottom of the ladder after six rounds while the Giants and Bathurst Bushrangers are equal at the top.
In Tier 2 action on the weekend, the Demons were handed a 9.12.66 to 5.8.38 defeat by the Giants.
The Dubbo side sits sixth on the seven-team ladder but is now only ahead of the Giants on percentages.
All three of the Demons' senior sides will take on the Bushrangers at home after the general bye.
