Both the Ladies and Mens Bowling Clubs have moved to the new North Dubbo RSL Sporties Club.
Vice-president for the Ladies Club Shirley Marchant said it was difficult to leave the Dubbo City Bowling Club.
"It really is, I played a lot of tennis before I played bowls and I was next door playing on the tennis courts there and I've been wandering in and out of that club for probably 60 years," she said.
"It was sad to see it go for sure but if [Dubbo] RSL hadn't taken us over we wouldn't have had a club anyway."

The new RSL facility has artificial bowling greens compared to the more traditional natural grass and Marchant feels it may take some time to adjust.
"Well it's totally different, we are used to our own greens there [City Bowling Club] and we've got the synthetic greens over there [North Dubbo RSL Sporties] which is all knew to most of us," she said.
"A lot of people have never played on synthetic before and it's a big move because a lot of those ladies have played at City all their life."
Tuesday morning marked the historic first time in which the Ladies played on the artificial greens with four social games plus a championship match.
Marchant feels the new greens are a faster than the ones many of the members have previously played on.
"Well we're used to natural grass and I'm probably not the best one to talk on that because it's got sand and water and that it's like a tennis courts," she said.
"They're totally different and probably a little bit faster but that was just was my judgement this morning.
"It's a totally different ball game."
While it was Marchant and the club were sad to leave their former home, they were positive about moving to the soon to be re-opened venue.
"I think it's great but this morning unfortunately because our president was away I had to make a sort of a speech and that's what I said this is now our club and we have to forget about where we were before and just move on with the new venture and hopefully it's going to be great for all of us," she said
"The clubhouse is lovely and it's bigger than what we are used to."
Marchant was in awe of the new club house which was purchased by the Dubbo RSL in 2019.
"It's all lovely and it's all modern and new so we have to accept all that and move on because as I said it is the future of Dubbo City Ladies Bowling," she said.
"We've gone as one big family so it's great."
The Mens Bowling Club will have their turn on Wednesday morning.
