Toole has settled nicely into the CYMS pack after joining the club for the Presidents Cup last season before agreeing to stay on for at least another year.
"I got to meet a few of the lads and the men around the club," he said of last year.
While the Fishies are yet to lose a match this season, Toole feels slow starts have been something of an issue.
It's been discussed in camp and he's confident the side can turn it around on the weekend.
"Our game performance is always in the second half," he said.
"It just takes us a bit to get out of the blocks. It's one thing we have been working on over the last couple of weeks so hopefully this week can improve in that area."
The Jets are yet tot win a game this year but Toole expects the side will be tough to beat, especially at home
"I think every team that plays at home sort of lifts to a different level so we will be expecting a strong performance by them," he said.
"But like I said, we just need to work on what we need to do and that's the first half of our game, the second half is where we really come together.
"It's in the first half where we give teams a bit of a start."
CYMS will be without injured five-eighth Brad Pickering who will miss the game pushing lock Jack Smith into the halves.
James Stanley will come into the start side at prop with captain Jarryn Powyer set to move to lock.
The final bench spot will be taken by young playmaker Jordi Madden who is set to make his first grade debut after coming through the St Johns and CYMS system.
Madden played halfback for CYMS' under 21s side who lost the Western final to Bathurst St Pats earlier this year.
The match will kick-off at 2:30 at Cale Oval.
