The Blowes Clothing Cup tilt marks the first time the captain will square off with the Eagles since he was hospitalised after an on-field incident back in May, 2019.
And even though the stalwart took 12 months off to recover, both mentally and physically, he's feeling a few more nerves than normal ahead of the must-win meeting.
"There will be emotions for me to deal with, but my main focus is to get the win for the boys," Tremain said.
City has already met with Cowra once this season, but 'Blocker' chose not to travel with the club that day.

The 43-7 loss was a tough pill for Viv Paasi's men to swallow, but Tremain knows the circumstances are different this time around.
"Playing at Pride Park gives us a lot of confidence," he said.
"Even though we've got a lot of injuries, if we can get a roll on I think we're a good chance."
This season has been a tale of heartbreak for the Lions, which is particularly disappointing given the epic run they went on last season as they fell to Emus in an all-Orange finale.
It was in round three when City squandered a 22-10 half-time lead before eventually losing to Platypi 25-22.
They doubled-down on that devastation by falling to Bathurst 34-31 a fortnight later in a match where they held a one-man advantage for almost an hour.
What does all of this mean? City is finding ways to lose games.
"We're just not putting the finishing touches on this year," he said.
"We have little slack moments throughout the game and that's when our opponents capitalise."
It's no surprise to hear Tremain speak about the challenges on the horizon as Cowra sits in third place with a respectable 3-3 record.
But, if you wanted to poke a hole in their resume so far, you only need to look at their performances away from home.
Colin Kilby's side is 0-2 away from its own turf, meaning it will need to produce its maiden road win on Saturday.
Kick-off is 3.15pm.
