That's what Wellington junior Brent Naden got to experience on Sunday as his Penrith Panthers stormed back from an early 14-0 deficit to down South Sydney and maintain their unbeaten start to the Knock On Effects NSW Cup.
The Panthers' dominant start to the season was under threat at half-time at an Apex Oval which was close to full almost immediately after gates opened at 11am.
The Rabbitohs - led by a strong showing from halves Troy Dargan and Dean Hawkins - shot out to a 14-0 lead in almost as many minutes and led by 10 at the half-time break.

The men in red and green were seemingly still in control when leading 22-10 with 20 minutes to go but in a hugely dramatic finish the ladder-leaders crossed twice before halfback Kurt Falls was handed a chance to win it right on full-time after Souths was adjudged offside while charging down an attempted match-winning field goal.
He made no mistake, sending the Panthers players and fans into raptures.
"I can call this a home crowd ... it was good and to win on the bell is pretty special," Naden said after full-time.
The former Wellington Cowboys junior headed to the sideline to see family and friends at Apex Oval almost as soon as the game was won, saying it was "beautiful" to be able to share the moment with them.
It earlier hadn't looked so good for the Panthers after tries for Coonamble product Braidon Burns, Jacob Gagai, and Taane Milne fired the Rabbitohs to a 14-0 lead in the blink of an eye.
The Panthers were scrappy for a lot of the contest but got back into the game on 20 minutes when fleet-footed fullback Sunua Turuva danced past some soft defence and crossed out wide.
Despite a glut of possession, Souths couldn't extend their lead prior to half-time and that proved to be decisive.
The Panthers showed why they've been the side to watch this year just minutes after the restart as back-rower John Faiumu muscled his way over.
While Souths hit back through Dargan following a lovely short ball from Hawkins that put fullback Blake Taafe into space to make it 22-10 there was plenty more drama left.
Tries for Izack Tago and Jaeman Salmon got things back to all square and the with the seconds ticking down the Panthers were handed the chance to win right in front of the sticks and Falls made no mistake.
