Stuart Gluth is the father of Jasmine, the pregnant partner of Ashton Ryan who died in the crash along with his aunty.
Mr Gluth has already raised over $2000 to support his daughter and his unborn grandchild.
"Obviously (there is) a lot of shock and a lot of grief around town, he was a young chap," Mr Gluth said
"Everyone has banded together and been very helpful so it's been very good."
In making his plea for help on the page Mr Gluth said he was seeking assistance for Jasmine to help her going forward.

"As Jasmine's world has now fallen apart, losing her partner and the father of her unborn child, Jasmine is currently unable to work," he has written on the page.
"We are seeking assistance for Jasmine to pay for her partner's funeral, her car that was written off during the accident, their three gorgeous dogs and the future costs of their child."
Mr Gluth admitted he did not expect to receive the level of support he has on the fundraising page this early but was more than thankful for the support from the community around him.
"She's 20 weeks pregnant and she's a childcare worker in Dubbo, she had a brand new car that has now been written off," Mr Gluth said.
"Well no, I'm very surprised and I'm very grateful and very pleased that people out there are thinking about her and her situation." he said.
Wellington has suffered several tragedies so far this year already, but Mr Gluth knows the strength of the community will help everyone involved.
"We have had a few things going down in Wellington so it's a bit of a shock to the community but the community is very strong and everyone sticks together." he said.
Earlier this year 24-year-old Bradley Stanley was killed in an altercation due to stab wounds. A 19-year-old has been charged.
Two young boys were also killed when during a hit-and-run near the Wellington Pool at the start of January. A woman and another young boy was also injured in the incident. A 25-year-old has been charged.
