It's one of the many conditions of entry that will be enforced on Sunday.
"All bags will be checked as a condition of entry, as no alcohol, soft drinks, glass or cans are permitted in the grounds. And although we know you really want to share this fun occasion with your furry friend, no pets other than assistance animals who have undertaken a Public Access Test are allowed into the venue," Dubbo Regional Council's manager regional events Kim Hague said.
However, those who aren't in the grandstand will be able to bring their own chairs or picnic blankets.
Everyone will also be required to use the Service NSW QR code to check in. The green tick needs to be shown to staff on entry.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
There are full bar facilities and plenty of food options on-site. Eftpos is preferred to make Apex Oval a cashless venue, but cash will still be accepted.
Designated drop-off and pick-up zones will be in place at Hawthorne Street, and on the corner of Wingewarra Street and Kokoda Place.
Free parking will be available at Dubbo Showground.
"There are a number of conditions of entry that people must adhere to when they're visiting for the game too, and these were set out in the Terms and Conditions when people purchased their tickets. However, we know in the excitement of purchasing a ticket, sometimes these get overlooked," Ms Hague said.
"We've got a really simple list to help people understand what they can or cannot do or bring to the game on our website."
More information about the rules, including the pick-up and drop-off points, is on the Dubbo Regional Council website.
