Police are appealing to the public for information after a teenager was stabbed during an altercation between a group of men on Saturday.

About 8pm on Saturday emergency services were called to Dubbo Showground after reports of an altercation.
Upon arrival, officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District found a 17-year-old with a stab wound to his stomach.
Police reported the rest of the group left the area before they arrived.
The teenager was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Dubbo Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following a search of the area, a number of young people were spoken to.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone that may have been in the area or witnessed the incident to contact Dubbo Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
