Club member and event director George Richmond is not surprised.
"Travel opportunities were denied to many people over the last 12 months so we expect the maximum of 50 entries will be taken up very quickly," he said.

Mr Richmond said 21 vehicles already had been registered for the 2021 event which would take participants to the "outer reaches of NSW" next month.
The biennial event has raised more than a million dollars for the Royal Flying Doctor Service since 1990.
It was cancelled in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
