"We did notice that we have had a lot of forward bookings for this weekend and we've had no concerns about filling up at all."
Mr Clark also stated he is not surprised at the number of bookings for this weekend.
"We've got a mixture of our normal type of booking and then we've got bookings related to the football," he said.
"Everything is just as we thought it would've been."
Mr Clark knows the most of his business come from places such as Sydney and this weekend people are opting to swap a well known attraction for the NRL match.
"Our source of business, it basically comes from the Sydney metropolitan area but we also do a lot of country support for people coming into Dubbo for the weekend then going back to the bush," he said.
"We wouldn't say our business is a lot different, instead of coming for the zoo they (tourists) are coming for the football."
