NOTICE OF AIRBORNE SURVEY
Council advises that FMG Resources Pty Ltd (Fortescue) will be conducting an airborne geophysical survey, commencing at the end of May.
The survey will cover the areas south of Trangie to Peak Hill and south of Trundle. The survey will be conducted in daylight hours, seven days a week, with a fixed-wing aircraft flying at 50 metres above the ground in 100 metre spaced lines.
HOUSEHOLD CHEMICAL CLEAN OUT
Council wishes to advise all residents that the 2021 Chemical Clean Out will be taking place on Sunday, May 23, where residents will be able to dispose of unwanted or expired household chemicals for free. All containers MUST be secure with lids.
Collection will take place at Trangie Waste Facility, Trangie Tip Road, from 8am until 11am and at Narromine Waste Facility, Gainsborough Road, from 1pm until 4pm.

ROAD SAFETY REMINDER
Council advises that the following roads remain closed to all vehicles: McLeods Lane, Tyrie North Road and Merrinong Road (between and Pineview and Ewenmar Roads). The remainder of unsealed roads are open to all vehicles.
All motorists are reminded not to drive through floodwaters and proceed with caution on all other roads.
Council reminds motorists to check council's website, social media and LiveTraffic for live updates, traveller information and personalised alerts for NSW roads.
Please note, major roads come under the jurisdiction of Roads and Maritime Services.
Council also reminds all motorists to be alert on roads and at rail level crossings in the coming months as grain locomotives continue to use rail lines. Remember to plan ahead, slow down and allow plenty of time to get to your destination safely.
