There will be more than just candles on driveways for Anzac Day this year, as services in the Dubbo region return to normal.

Marches and services will go ahead on Sunday, April 25 with members of the public expected to sign in with QR codes via the Service NSW app.
After the cancellation of Anzac Day commemorations in 2020 due to COVID-19, Dubbo RSL Sub Branch president Tom Gray said he was "pleased" residents could once again unite to pay their respects, and said it was important people attend the services to help keep the Anzac legacy alive for younger generations.

"We want people to remember what Anzac Day is for, it's not just for a holiday," he said.
"It's important for the community and the youth to come together and reflect on the sacrifices of our armed forces of years gone by."
Mr Gray said he was proud of the way the community embraced honouring Anzac Day differently last year with driveway tributes of wreath displays, candles, and a moment silence at the end of the driveway.
He said the respect for veterans and their families never faltered, even at the height of a pandemic.
"It made the veteran community of Dubbo very proud and supported," he said.
The sub-branch president again urged anyone in the community who couldn't make it to the cenotaph during the day to have a moment of silence out of respect for the fallen.
"It's an important time for reflection to remember the service and sacrifice of all Australian service personnel who have served for the nation for over a century," he said.
While the public are being encouraged to watch the march and attend ceremonies, due to COVID restrictions the march would be restricted to serving and ex-service personnel, the Dubbo and District Concert band, emergency services representatives, schools and cadets.
Services would be held at Dubbo, Wellington, Stuart Town, Geurie, Eumungerie, Mumbil and Gollan throughout the day.
In Dubbo, with the support of the Dubbo Regional Council, the dawn service will be held from 5.30am for a 5.45am start.
Later in the morning there will be a commemoration service starting with a march starting at the RSL from 10.30am.
In Wellington the dawn service will begin with a march from the Soldiers Memorial Club to Cameron Park, with the service to start at 6am.
The commemorative service march will begin at 10.45am, with the service to start at 10.55am in Cameron Park.
In the lead up to the day, members of the RSL sub-branch would be conducting pre Anzac Day services at schools and aged care facilities.
