Well known Dubbo trainer Kody Nestor has the highly touted Miss Mayfield in the Mid Western Regional Council Class 3 Handicap.
Coming off a second-place, last start at Coonamble and two consecutive wins before that the four-year-old mare looks a solid chance.
Alaskan Aura trained by Allan Gibson is set to be ridden by Ken Dunbar and looked strong on the back straight to place second, the last start at Orange two weeks ago.
Nestor also has Five Bob in race two which is coming off a strong trial run last Saturday at Wellington and has drawn barrier two.
Next Saturday, Nestor will travel to Royal Randwick with Activation competing in the Country Championships final.
Narromine trainer Kylie Kennedy will also be at Randwick and has entered Pamela in the Goree Park Benchmark 66 Handicap.

The six-year-old mare is coming off a third-place, last start in Dubbo early last month.
Dubbo's Clint Lundholm has the red hot Fearless Mila who is coming off three consecutive wins with the most recent victory at Coonamble.
The five-year-old mare charged away from the competition over the last 400m in the Coonamble race and will shape as one of the contenders on Sunday.
Bathurst trainer Gayna Williams will be hoping that Paradia can return to form after not racing competitively since September last year but the four-year-old mare trialled two weeks ago in Orange where it ran sixth.
Lundholm is also sending four-year-old mare Pellezzano out to Bourke to race on Sunday at the Back O' Bourke Picnic Race Club.
Sunday will mark the second race for the mare under the training of Lundholm after formerly being trained by Scone's Brett Cavanough.
The five-race Bourke meeting will only feature 25 horses but well-known trainers such as Brett Robb will be heading out the meet.
Nyngan's Robb will have Work and Chat along with Cheselbeach in the final race of the day while the Rodney Robb trained Prototype will also feature.
