After dominating the competition for the whole season only losing the one match, Colts head into their grand final clash against CYMS as favourites but Semmler isn't overconfident.
"We are confident, I think we are probably going to go about it the same we do every week and if we stick to our plans I think we will putting in a good show and competitive to win," he said.
"We definitely aren't taking CYMS lightly though after the win they had last week which was pretty convincing so we are going to have to be on our game to make sure we get the chocolates."
Behind a batting line-up that has featured Charlie Kempston, Mitch Bower and Brad Cox, Semmler and the bowlers have reaped the rewards of the batting prowess that has stared this year.
"The batters have set the platform for most of the year and we will be looking for them to do that again this weekend but our bowlers are fairly confident we can defend most scores because we are bowling well as a unit," he said.

"We have got a lot of variety in our attack which has served us pretty well over the season but we are definitely looking for the big players to do the job in finals and batting wins you finals most of the time."
Semmler finished behind CYMS' Ben Knaggs for the most wickets in the competition and a strong finish to the year is a credit to the bowling unit.
"I've had a pretty good year in the end, I had a slow start but I felt I was bowling reasonably well earlier in the year and didn't have a lot of luck and later in the year I've had a bit of luck and coming away with some wickets more than I ordinarily would have," he said.
"I'm just feeding off the other guys, we are bowling well as a unit and I'm just getting the rewards really, we all know our roles and I'm just doing my job the best I can and it helps when the batters do theirs and I know I can build pressure even if I'm not taking wickets."
Semmler is in line for just his second grand-final win after last season's trophy was awarded to CYMS and Newtown comfortably defeated Colts, the side is ready to fire on Saturday.
"The way last year ended and the year before that we lost to Newtown so we are not short of motivation."
