The Exchange community and business development manager Rachel Viant said the event is an acknowledgement of all the incredible women contributing to the success across central-western NSW.
Also highlighted at the event was the importance for women support, selfcare, both mentally and physically, access to quality health care services, as well as the importance of gender equality and breaking down the existing barriers women in today's world continue to face.
Journalist and author Georgie Dent was the keynote speaker at the event along with Macquarie Health Collective founder Tanya Forster who said the event was a reminder to women to prioritise themselves and practice their own self care.
"Events like this are really important as they allow us an opportunity to be able to celebrate regional women, but it's also a reminder for women to prioritise their health and to feel supported, empowered and inspired," she said.
"I think as women there are a lot of existing additional pressures, we really do have the struggle of the juggle.
"Being a mum, a wife, managing a career on top of all the additional pressures... It's important for us to ensure our own health and wellbeing in amongst all the other responsibilities we have.
"The whole reason I started my business is to increase access to services because what we know across Dubbo and across regional NSW is access to services is such a battle and I want to make sure every women has access to quality health care, mentally and physically.
"It also gives women the opportunity to have these important conversations, and I hope everyone who leaves today feels supported."
Ms Forster said the event was also an opportunity to advocate for women's rights.
"It's not about saying one person is better than another, it's about the same and equal opportunities for both women and men.
"For example, equal opportunities in the workplace. We know historically the percentage of women in a variety of roles, particularly in various senior roles, is lower.
"We want to remove some of the barriers. It's about equality"
