A second teenager has been charged following an investigation into the theft of firearms from a property at Peak Hill.

About 2am on February 21 several firearms were stolen from a safe at a property on Ingalba Street in Peak Hill.
Ammunition and a Suzuki RM250 2000 trailbike were also taken during the break in.

Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and established a crime scene.
Police arrested a 16-year-old at Forbes about 4pm on February 26.
Following further inquiries another 16-year-old was arrested in Peak Hill, about 10.30am on March 4.
The teenager was charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter in company, possess unauthorised firearm, and enter building/ land with intent commit indictable offence.
An outstanding warrant for traffic offences was also executed.
The 16-year-old was refused bail to appear before a children on Friday.
