It is penciled in for October 4 to October 9, covering 1000 kilometres. The new committee will determine the route.
A range of tasks are tackled by the committee including managing the logistics of the event, accommodation, fundraising and sponsorship, police and insurance approvals, and support personnel.
After-hours committee meetings will be held at the Milestone Hotel on a day of the week yet to be decided.
Meetings run for a maximum of one hour and are held fortnightly at the beginning of the planning and then more frequently as the event draws nearer.
The biennial event was launched in 2013 to raise funds for the accommodation facility for regional patients of Dubbo Hospital.
It ran again in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
"With many events put on hold over the last year the timing for the Tour de OROC in 2021 will be perfect," event chairman Mathew Dickerson said.
"So I am looking forward to another exciting event that will contribute significant funds to Macquarie Home Stay."
People interested in helping to organise the event should send an email with their details to info@tourdeoroc.bike or call Mr Dickerson on 0418 628 439.
