The Rams have won just once from the opening three rounds of the under 16s competition and both losses, the most recent last weekend at Narromine, have come about following disappointing performances riddled with handling errors and ill-discipline.
In a sign he wants to get on the front foot more, Woolnough has shifted St John's second-rower Jonah Raideveta to the centres for Saturday's meeting with Monaro at Canberra.
Raidaveta will form a dangerous centre pairing alongside Malakai Folau, who has impressed with his running despite having limited chances with the ball at Narromine.

Jet McAuliffe has been promoted to starting side and will join captain Connor Vardanega in the second-row. Prop Michael Coady also misses out after suffering a head knock in last weekend's loss to Macarthur.
For the under 18s, Matthew Noakes has overcome injury and will make his first appearance for the Rams this season off the bench.
Noakes, who plays his club footy for the Forbes Magpies, will provide versatility as he has experience playing at five-eighth and in the back-row.

The Rams 16s and 18s play at 10am and 11.20am respectively before the seniors and women.
