The exhibition, Herstory was held at the Western Plains Cultural Centre on Saturday afternoon and was run by curators Mariam Abboud and Coral Dolan.
A 'good group' of people attended the event which some guests had described as being 'magic'.
Ms Dolan discussed how 'these women have inspired this multi-layered body of work, paying homage to their memory.'
The exhibition is part of the HomeGround program which is an initiative of Dubbo Regional Council, produced by the Western Plains Cultural Centre, supported by Orana Arts and sponsored by Wingewarra Dental.
