Make sure you are going in for a general check up every six to 12 months.
Pharmacist and pharmacy owner Kaail Bohm said ovarian cancer has one of the worst survival rates and is not well recognised compared to other cancer forms.
"A lot of the early detection methods we have for other cancers we don't have for ovarian cancer and a lot of ovarian cancer symptoms aren't recognised," Mr Bohm.
"A lot of the symptoms are very general such as bloating, cramping, diarrhoea and feeling unwell in general."
Mr Bohm said the fundraiser has received great community support over its 15 years.
"The Dubbo community as a whole always gets behind everything when it comes to supporting a good cause, and ovarian cancer is one of those good causes," he said.
"Everyone is very generous."
Pharmacy employee Kerry Braithwaite said the event is a team effort which all staff contribute to every year.
This year the team also took extra steps to ensure the fundraiser adhered to the COVID-19 safety guidelines.
