After declining his player option for 2022 to test his market value, Staggs is understood to have received interest from a number of clubs in the NRL.
The powerful centre's market value is reportedly around $700,000 per season and after the club released Andrew McCullough on Monday, the Broncos now can table offer.
While Staggs will miss the start of the 2021 season after rupturing his ACL last season which most likely would have seen him selected in Brad Fittler's State of Origin squad, new Broncos coach Kevin Walters has the desire to make him a "10-year" Broncos player.

Speaking to NRL.com, Staggs described playing for the Broncos as a childhood dream.
"I love the club. Growing up as a young kid this is where I wanted to be," Staggs said.
"It was a dream to play at the Broncos and just the club itself, growing up, watching Darren Lockyer, he was my idol.
"I don't want to be anywhere else but here.
"It'll be good if I can stay here. I just want to play good footy when I get back from injury and see what happens."
Staggs has recently begun running again as part of his rehabilitation from a knee reconstruction which should see him return around round 13 or 14.
