Australian Red Cross is holding a free CPR and medical expo on Saturday, March 13. The expo will be held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre.
There will be up to 10 first aid trainers present on the day to conduct the training.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
"With over 160 AEDs in the local government area it is essential that everyone over the age of 10 knows what to do in an emergency and how to use a defibrillator," Mr Chapman said.
"Even if you have done a first aid or CPR course you should still come along for a quick refresher. We're aiming to have you trained in around 15 minutes."
The medical component of the expo will have a range of healthcare professionals including those who can check eyes, hearing, feet and blood pressure. A nurse from the Westmead Children's Hospital will attend to talk about allergies and nurses from Dubbo Area Nursing Service will attend to discuss home care.
