The two lovebirds tied the knot nearly six decades ago, on February 11 in 1961 in their prior home of Dunedoo. They will get a chance to celebrate the occasion next week with their very proud family.
Daughter Caroline Israel, one of two children, says the secret to their long lived union has been simple.
"They have always been able to laugh together, always supported each other and the love is abundant," Ms Israel said.

Ms Israel says her and her brother have been incredibly blessed to get to celebrate their parent's marriage.
"My brother and I are so very lucky that we've got such a great example of love, support and commitment to look to, we've very lucky for that," Ms Israel said.
It's a gratitude that Mrs Jackson appreciates as well, describing herself and Mr Jackson as 'very fortunate'.
"I realise that we are very fortunate to have been both able to reach that 60 year mark, although we haven't technically reached it yet, we've one more week to go, but I'm sure we will," Mrs Jackson said.
The two met at a dance hall near Gulgong and Dunedoo, and were inseparable since, although Mrs Jackson still remembers when she first saw her now-husband on one of his work trips away from the family farm near Leigh Creek.
"We were both from the same area, I was reared on the land eight miles south of Dunedoo and Tom was from over that Gulgong, Leigh Creek sort of area," Mrs Jackson said.
"He used to be around a fair bit and you end up knowing everybody in the area, I knew who he was, he'd help all us girls with the projection at the picture theatre and that sort of thing."
"It was a very different generation then."
Through thick and thin, the couple's connection has never subsided, with the two now living together happily in Dubbo.
The whole family, including Ms Israel, her brother and Tom and Mrs Jackson's five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren will all be celebrating the milestone on Thursday.
