Western Rams journeyman Gordon had linked with CYMS prior to the 2020 campaign and while the Group 11 season was cancelled he still got the chance to play alongside some of his good mates during the Fishies' Presidents Cup campaign.
But after just the one season in green and white he's on the move again, much to the delight of Panthers captain-coach Doug Hewitt.
The versatile Gordon, most often found in the halves, previously played for the Bathurst club in 2016 and 2017 before a season at each of Dubbo Westside, Cowra Magpies, and CYMS.
"He's just a bloke that you can always rely on to fill whatever position you need," Hewitt said of Gordon.
"He's going to be really handy and the way he's training, he's training the house down, more keen then ever. It's good having an old head like that, he'll add a lot of stability and we'll rely on him a fair bit."

It also allows Gordon to reunite with one of his relatives, Jeremy Gordon, after the pair last played together at Cowra in 2019.
Gordon was one of a number of halves options the Fishies had in 2020 but following his departure and Bayden Searle's return to Newcastle the positions do now appear a little skinny.
He's also the latest in a list of Presidents Cup recruits who have now left the club.
The other moves were always expected, with the likes of Searle, Tony Pellow, Jack Quinn, and Isaac Thompson only ever joining the club to be part of the cup campaign last year.
Jack Kavanagh has also departed in a bumper move to local rivals Macquarie but Josh Toole, James Stanley, and Jeremy Thurston are all expected to be in green and white in 2021.
Gordon is one of a number of new faces at Panthers alongside prop McCoy White from crosstown rivals Bathurst St Pat's , Abel Lefaoseu and Dave Sellers from Oberon, and Cowra outside back Braydn Cassidy.
