Some parts of Dubbo recorded 15.2mm overnight after a storm hit late Sunday afternoon.
A heavy shower and possible thunderstorm is predicted for Dubbo late Monday evening and early Tuesday morning with between 20-40mm estimated to fall.
Humidity is set to sky-rocket on Tuesday morning following the forecast rain with 79 per cent expected around Dubbo.

Dubbo has doubled yearly rainfall from this time last year and more rain is expected to fall this weekend.
Dubbo has also exceeded it's February average rainfall in just a day, with recordings looking at the 24 hours up until 9am on Monday, February 1.
Weatherzone is forecasting 5-10mm for both Friday and Saturday.
Significant rainfall has not been recorded in Dubbo since mid-January and this recent downpour will be a welcome start to the month.
Temperature's are expected to be cool this week with the highest temperature of 32 degrees on Friday.
