The meeting features the Keith Thomson and Joe Dumesny Memorial races, honouring two fine servants of the Parkes harness fraternity.
The seven race meeting will have a distinct 'bush trainer' feeling, with smaller stables and hobby trainers featuring - something Keith Thompson was a big champion of.
There are four runners from Alectown, one from Trundle, 11 Parkes based runners, two each from Cowra and Canowindra, three from Grenfell, four from Young and a big contingent of eight Forbes runners will be making the short trip up the Newell Highway.

There will still be a Dubbo Harness Racing Club feel to the meeting, with a number of trainers and drivers making the trip across.
Lex Bramble, Bruce McKinnon, Michael Carroll, and Greg Pay will have chances in at what shapes as a very open meeting.
Trainer-driver Carroll has two handy chances, with Terror To Rock to contest the Joe Dumesny Memorial (1660m).
Terror To Rock has had three starts this preparation and after running eighth first-up at Tamworth a promising second and third has been recorded.
The breakthrough win has eluded the colt though, who is yet to score in five career starts.
Terror To Rock goes from gate five in the memorial event, a race for three-year-old horses with no more than two lifetime wins.
The Pays will also combine in the event, with Jack to drive Justanotherforex for trainer Greg.
Carroll will also have Lovin Everyday In the Parkes Leagues Club Pace (1660m).
Bramble has Hes A Terror and Im Alrite set for the meeting while McKinnon has Koloura Flight ready to go.
Bramble's Hes A Terror will go around in the Keith Thomson Memorial, a race for hobby trainers from around the region.
The first of seven races on Tuesday goes at 6.38pm with the memorial events the third and fifth events on the card.
