The Bathurst-based apprentice has ridden the six-year-old mare in 28 of her 31 starts and career win number nine arrived at Parkes.
The Long Run took out the Open Handicap (1400m) at Parkes, with Ashleigh Stanley again getting the job done for her father, the now Wellington-based trainer Peter Stanley.
Ashleigh has ridden eight of The Long Run's nine wins, missing only a November win at Narromine through injury.
Very well ridden by Ashleigh, The Long Run ($4.80) enjoyed a nice run in third on the rails before wearing down the leader Redirect (Ashley Morgan, $2.60 favourite) to win by three-quarters-of-a-length with Petain (Tony Cavallo, $6.50) finishing third.

Hugh Bowman, a champion jockey on the International stage, receives lots of headlines however it was his parents Jim and Mandy Bowman from Dunedoo in the spotlight when their gelding Scottish Soldier, trained at Mudgee by Mack Griffith, won the Parkes Services Club Class 2 Handicap (1400m).
Coming from midfield, Scottish Soldier (Mathew Cahill, $5.50) in the straight swept past Wiseman (James Rogers, $26) and Gossip (Clayton Gallagher, $4.80 fav.).
Completing a double, Cahill won the Bob Skinner Painting & Decorating Benchmark 58 Handicap (1000m) on Skullharderson for Nyngan trainer Brett Robb.
Parkes trainer Sharon Jeffries is noted for purchasing cheap horses and turning them in to winners with her husband Dale and that has been the case again with $600 buy Coulpa.
A recent Coonamble winner for Jeffries and placed second at Bathurst and Gilgandra, Coulpa ($4.60) responded to strong riding from Cavallo to overhaul Griffin's Gaze (Bell-Pitomac, $21) with Beaumains ( Andrew Banks, $51) third in the Telescope Tyres & Batteries BM 58 Handicap (1600m).
First leg of a double for Cavallo was Emmy's Our Girl ($4 favourite) which led throughout in the Hankook Tyres BM 58 Handicap (1400m) to give Taree trainer Joseph Burges two winners from his first four starters.
After several placings, Urus (Mikayla Weir, $2.60) was a deserved all-the-way winner of the Parkes Farm Centre Maiden Plate (1600m) tor Dubbo trainer Garry Lunn while at the second start in a race the Gayna Williams-trained Tags (Nick Heywood, $3.60 fav.) led most of the way to win the Choices Flooring Maiden Handicap (1200m).
