Mitchell's funeral will be held at St Brigid's Catholic Church at 198 Brisbane Street from 11am on Thursday, December 17.

The Ray family, parents Jeremy and Erin and their younger children Hannah and Connor, had hoped to bring Mitchell home to Dubbo for Christmas but his condition deteriorated in the week before his death.
About 500 seats will be available in the church.
The service will be followed by a private cremation.
The funeral is being organised by W Larcombe & Son.
