His mother Erin posted on the Mitchell blasts neuroblastoma on Sunday night that her son had died at 2.10pm.
"Honestly I am so proud of this kid, what an absolute legend to quietly slip away surrounded by family, listening to his all time favourite song.

"This is the absolute worst thing to endure, the worst day of my life, of Jeremy's life, but there's so much comfort and relief that his last day was peaceful without any of the fighting of the night, and that he somehow timed it so perfect," Erin posted.
The family moved to Bear Cottage late last week to see out Mitchell's final days.
The family will bring Mitchell home to Dubbo later this week for his funeral.
