Rugby scored its first win of the season last weekend when defeating Macquarie in a final ball thriller but on Saturday the side meets unbeaten leaders RSL-Colts.
And, to make it just that little more difficult, Rugby goes into the match without three of the club's most promising young talents.
Lawson Shepherd, Nate Ambler, and Darcy Chewings will all miss the match after being selected in the Dubbo side which will contest this weekend's Western Zone Colts championships at Orange.
The majority of RSL-Whitney Cup sides are affected and Colts heads into the match without the services of Anthony Atlee and Preston Beauchamp.
The ladder-leaders will still start as heavy favourites though and go into the round nine contest having cruised past Souths by seven wickets last weekend.
Souths will be chasing redemption in their match on Saturday.
The Hornets meet CYMS for the first time since being bowled out for just 22 earlier this season.
The total was one of the lowest in the history of the RSL-Whitney Cup and came after the Cougars had piled on 2/245.
Tom Coady scored a century for CYMS that day but will also be on colts duty on Saturday, in what is the annual Sam Fraser Cup meeting between the two clubs.
The final match of the round pits second-placed Macquarie against fourth-placed Newtown.
Newtown downed CYMS last round to move within striking distance of the top three.
Play starts 1pm in all games.
