The game will commence at 6.30pm at Victoria Park oval and, in what will be a first for the competition, will allow either side to come away with a boost in the RSL-Whitney Cup's stakes.
The changes to competition scoring were announced at the start of the season by Dubbo Cricket Association president Jeff Shanks, after consultation around how the game would be forced to change to accommodate COVID restrictions and other possible factors.

While the change in format comes under challenging circumstances, it couldn't come at a better time for either side, with both lagging behind their competitors in the RSL-Whitney Cup, the points on offer with a win, could provide either side a much needed lift on the ladder.
Both teams sit nine points behind fourth placed Newtown Tigers, with each side having 16 points and one win a piece so far.
The match-up will be followed next week with a game between RSL Colts and Newtown Tigers, before the second round of the Megahit begins on Friday, January 8 with a double-header set to take place as competition resumes following the Christmas break.
No matter which team rises or falls over the course of the Megahit contest, and despite the influence the limited overs night games now have on the Whitney Cup competition, a Megahit finale is expected in March.
